Interesting to note that before WGO approached Court Bauer about starting H2Wrestling, Bauer was in discussions with former Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan, who is a huge wrestling fan, about investing in a new promotion. Bauer and Corgan were introduced by former ECW star Lou D'Angeli (Lou E. Dangerously), who became friends with Corgan while doing several ECW angles together in 2000. D'Angeli had discussed working with MLW in a promotional position before the promotion shut down operations last year. D'Angeli currently works for the Budweiser Events Center as head of publicity in Colorado. The discussions never went anywhere as Bauer got involved with H2, but there is a chance that when schedules work out, Corgan will make an appearance.
