TSP Media - Journal Post From Jimmy 8/14

Hello and welcome back. Well we did it and I can't believe it! Today marked the final day of mixing for the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex. After less than two months Mohler and I are done! (and only slightly over budget!) I am so happy with the way everything turned out. So proud of everyone involved. It has been a beautiful musical journey that has ended all too soon. And like all things, it seems the best came last. Today, Tom Rothrock, Mohler, and I mixed the last two songs on the record, one of which was Mr. Corgan’s vocal contribution. What a treat to have BC singing my lyrics. I've got to say it gave me chills to hear his voice coming through the speakers this morning, but at the same time it was very comforting to listen to my best friend showing his love for me. I've never done a record without him and it was a fitting final piece to the puzzle. Needless to say his performance is awesome! The man can actually sing! No, really it has been a very emotional day for me and my bandmates with BC's vocal instantly raising the standard of the record. I feel very lucky today. Lucky to have friends, that love me. Lucky to have music, that saves me. Lucky to have God, who guides me. All is possible with love. Nothing is possible without love. Everything you do, reflects in everything you do. Until next time.
