Get into Another State of Mind on Sunday Setember 19th at Metro! Another State of Mind: A Benefit for David-James Figueroa is so named after the weekly punk rock event held in SmartBar by longtime Metro employee David-James. After winning his battle against cancer in 2003, his wife was recently diagnosised with cancer. Proceeds from this show will benefit The Figueroa Fund. In a celebration of courage and life, David-James has brought together some of his favorite artists for this special event - This show features Billy Corgan, Rick Neilson, Nick Tremulis and DJ Ric Addy. Tickets are $21, and all proceeds will benefit The Figueroa Fund. The show is all ages and starts at 6:30pm. In addition, there will be raffle for several great prizes including: hotel stays, travel packages, Metro tickets and more!
